Simply to Serve

I found this one in an old file tonight. I had written it on January 28, 2009 but I guess I never posted it. I pray that all is well with you and yours and may God bless.

Help me walk in Your steps, my Lord
Guide me along a path that's true
Lead me on to eternity
Let me walk all my trails with You

Please help me to teach as You taught
Help me to have a loving heart
That I may do Your bidding Lord
And never, ever from You part

Let me follow Your ways, my Lord
So that my soul may be washed clean
Always stay inside of my heart
Help me show others what love means

Show me peace and mercy, dear Lord
Through all Your righteousness and love
Tell me what my purpose is here
Grace me with Your strength from above

Guide me with Your truth and teach me
For You are my God and Savior
For You I wait every day
I pray I stay in Your favor

Thank You for loving me dear Lord
Your kindness I do not deserve
Gladly I give myself to You
For You I will graciously serve.

Your poems just get better Paul. God has planned for you to touch the multitudes with your poetry. I know because I an not easily moved and your poems are from the heart and soul of a True Christian.
