A variation of MORNING THOUGHTS from the 5th book in my LESSONS IN LIFE series....
FAITH ALONG LIFE'S TRAILS.

Have a great evening and may God bless.

Woke up this morning feeling strange
With an awful feeling of dread
Why these lousy thoughts on my mind?
Crazy things running through my head

Cobwebs hang in front of my eyes
Can't remember dreaming last night
So what is this awful feeling?
Shake it off, face the morning light

Said a prayer before rising...
"Morning Lord, how are You today?
Were You trying to talk to me
What is it You're trying to say?

"I'll listen to Your guidance, Lord
For each day is better with You
Lead me with Your glorious light
Tell me what You'd like me to do"

Just a few gentle words He spoke
Reminding me of all His love
The feeling of dread went away
His comforting sent from above

I rose and watched the new sunrise
Come up over mountains and lake
My Lord, what a beautiful day
All Your blessings I gladly take

Thank You dear Lord for loving me
And for showing me that You care
Yes, I'll pass Your true love around
For it is my duty to share

Sometimes dreams can be remmebered and sometimed naught. They say we dream every night. I enjoyed the communion with God and the way yuo finally greeted the new day.. I could just see the sun coming up over the mnts of NH...M
