Someone sent me an Ad Message after I posted DEAR MR. PRESIDENT saying that they felt sorry for me because I feel it is simple common sense to support my fellow American workers rather than buy cheap imports. I had to ponder that for awhile and then this came to me. And I know where it came from. Anyway, don't feel sorry for me; feel sorry for our children and our grandchildren because we are leaving them one hell of a mess in America. Sad but true . May God bless America again!
I never know when the words will come
Yet I know they are sent from up high
One moment I can't write anything
When suddenly the words start to fly
They may come to me late in the night
Or while taking a drive in my truck
But this I know with true certainty
They are not just a matter of luck
I could be hiking over a hill
Or walking through a summer shower
It doesn't matter what the time is
They come to mind at every hour
Lord humbly I ask You this question
What should I do with this gift from You?
My Lord, I'm hearing Your answer now
Spread word of all the good that You do
Thank You, my Lord, I know what to do
Use all Your words to share Your sweet love
While knowing that those who accept it
Will one day be in Heaven above
I love how you think, Paul, and stick to your faith. That's what we need in our country. Maybe you need to run for president; I'd vote for you in a heartbeat! :) Well done!

It is funny how when we relax and stop trying to force things, ideas
start to flow, isn't it? Best poems happen that way!
As for sweetness and humility, I don't know anyone who exemplifies the qualities more. You are always so supportive. I can't tell you how much it means.
Hard to leave the poem behind. Rereading it reminds me (among other things) how much a long walk in the rain helps. Er, 'long as it's warm.;)
Thank you for sharing this testimonial of your faith, Paul. I also know that the words that I am given to share are a gift; and I am grateful. Love, peace, and blessings,
