Lost in a forest dark and deep
We never need to feel alone
God's creations are everywhere
They'll help make us feel right at home

At sunrise we might find a doe
Prancing about the early morn
Her mate looking on from the trees
Staying close to protect her fawn

At noon we may find a black bear
Taking a stroll simply to say
'Good day my friends, I mean you no harm'
Then just as quickly she's on her way

Let's take the life God's given us
Its trails can bring us to His side
Lessons in life can teach us much
If in His ways we do abide

Yes, some money is good to have
Just enough so we can get by
We've seen the ways money corrupts
Watched too many good people cry

WOW! It buys material things,
Yet it cannot comfort one's soul
Pray everyone gets His message
Being rich in God makes us whole

My Lord, give us a simple life
Surrounded by all that You've made
Nothing could be any better
No matter how much cash we've paid
