I thought about moving again
And then the Lord interceeded
He said, "I brought you to this place
I gave you all that you needed. 

"Thus, be still and be satisfied
I know that you have what it takes
I gave you the best of both worlds
Simply enjoy my mountains and lakes.

"And know that I am not done with you
I've been with you since the very start
You've not been alone for a moment
I've always been there, deep in your heart.

"Now be still and be satisfied
Their worlds will go on without you
They have their own things going now
And you still have more work to do.

"Know that I will always be here
I'll walk with you, I'll lead the way
I'll comfort you when you're hurting
You know all you need do is pray

"Yes, be still and be satisfied
For I have made this place your home
Have faith in our Father above
And you shall never walk alone."

Thank You, Dear Lord, I needed that
I was unsure of what to do
Should have known You'd have the answer
Please make me more trusting in You

I shall be still and be satisfied
The next move I leave up to You
You've given me more than I deserve
Show me the way, show me what to do

I thank You Lord for Your blessings
I thank You for lighting my way
I thank You for Your sacrifice
I thank You for this very day
