Let's take a walk on some trails of life
There is so much to see and to do
Many more lessons still to be learned
From all the tales that I wrote for you

Now, where to begin our walk today
Why don't we start with HE TAKES THE BEST
I have walked on this trail many times
Where none feel that they're ready for yet

Let's save that trail for another day
And take a trail with more mystery
How 'bout one with A TALE OF A STORM
Or one with A LESSON IN POETRY?

And then there's a trail of PYRAMIDS
Hidden up high in a mountain range
They're older than the ones in Egypt
And over the years they've hardly changed

Let's walk upon A TRAIL OF WONDER
Whatever way you would like to go
It really makes no difference at all
Each of them must be traveled you know

And then there are trails that are SIMPLE
Where everything just seems to rhyme
With the free will that God grants to us
We'll simply take ONE DAY AT A TIME

Then we can walk on THE TRAIL OF TRUTH
Something that's in short supply today
Seems that so many would rather lie
Than to admit they don't know the way

How 'bout a trail of FAITH, HOPE and TRUST
I'm certain we could use more of each
God has asked that we try to practice
The words that He sent Jesus to teach

Of course there are UNEXPECTED TRAILS
And those present us with so much fear
Tho' we walk through the valley of death
We still walk on 'cause our Lord is near

And there are many trails of FRIENDSHIP
Filled with people that offer us love
The greatest gift we ever received
Came with His offer from up above

Be careful on the TRAIL OF A SCAM
Many are out to get your money
And they really don't care who they hurt
They enjoy it and think that it's funny

But you know that GOD SENT AN ANGEL
Who watches over us and takes care
Of our every want and our needs
All He asks in return is we share

Just thank God for we're SIMPLY BLESSED
By twinkling starlight we see in the night
The first breath of a newborn baby
By the trust in a child's eyes so bright

If we would only trust in His words
He might even give us ONE MORE CHANCE
To discover our souls within us
If only we'd learn to DANCE THE DANCE

Get back on the trails and one day soon
You may find just what you're searching for
Simply remember ALL THAT MATTERS
Is ETERNITY FOREVER MORE

LIFE WITHOUT GOD IS LIKE A DULL PENCIL,
IT HAS NO POINT!
