An outstanding write Paul, this poem speaks much wisdom. The Bible has much to say about the rich; in Proverbs 16:8 it says "Better to have little, with godliness, than to be rich and dishonest." I don't know who is really rich, I guess it's whom we compare. Even some of the poorest folks in the USA are considered among the top 5 percent of the wealthest people in the world. I just came from places in Turkey and Egypt where a few square feet of dirt that can be farmed is highly treasured. Over there if you have many ducks, you are considered very wealthy. We have a group of folks in our church who pick up day old bread and pastries twice a week a local supermarket and give the goods away to less wealthy folks that are still richer that the majority of folks in of this world.
