This one is from my sixth book in the Lessons in Life series, TWILIGHT TRAILS. I hope you enjoy and may God bless.

I gave all my problems to God
And then He took me by my hand
Said, "Walk with me, I'll lead the way,"
Right then I became a new man

Nothing has been the same ever since
Though there are times I wander away
Then silently He touches my soul
Offers me peace and love if I stay

My friends, one has to be a fool
To reject His kindness and love
Our Lord cares and He walks with us
And guides us from Heaven above

Until the day He calls me home
To the place where I long to be
I welcome Him within my heart
Where He guides, yet lets me live free

YOU ARE SO RIGHT, PAUL AND I MUST ADMIT THAT I LIVED A 'FOOLISH' LIFE FOR A GOOD WHILE...UNTIL ONE DAY, I TURNED AND SAID 'YES'...I ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. 'NOTHING' HAS EVER BEEN THE SAME. I AM NOW TRULY...LIVING FREE. ONLY THOSE WHO ARE FOLLOWING GOD TO THE VERY BEST OF THEIR ABILITY CAN REALLY UNDERSTAND THIS KIND OF 'FREEDOM'.
