This is a variation of THE THINGS HE DOES that I originally wrote on December 7, 2008 and is published in my third book in the Lessons in Life series,
TRAILS TO ETERNITY.
I so look forward to each day
With a grand song of victory
I'm serving my Almighty God
Working with His sweet harmony
I find that I'm always amazed
Amazed as to why He chose me
A common man of little worth
Yet, I am in good company
The One who made the sky and earth
And everything that we see
Still smiles and shines His light upon
Awful sinners like you and me
He never fails and will not quit
He is so steadfast, guaranteed
He gives us strenght, a plan for life
Invites us to live eternally
He paid the price, He took the blows
He defeated our enemy
Christ took it all so we could come
To live with our Lord Almighty
He is working to catch each tear
He says, "Please come and follow Me"
We sit and wait in His shadow
And He will never ever leave
The Prince of all will help us rest
And He will even wash our feet
The Holy Lamb who does forgive
He'll cast our sins into the sea
A love story He has written
Just so that all of us may be
With Him in Heaven forever
And no man will take that from me
"And no man will take that from me" Though many ridicule and look with disdain, what we have is eternal and His promises are true and faithful.

a strong testimonial to what sounds like an undying faith... let he who has begun a good work within us bring it to completion in his time and way, and for his glory.
