Bright blue skies are starting to show
The clouds are all melting away
Though it was dreary this morning
It is now a beautiful day

The rain made the grass green again
Streams and brooks are starting to flow
Wildlife is roaming about
The world's alive wherever we go

The mountain tops reach for the sky
The air is so cool, crisp and clean
The stars at night shine like beacons
Take a look you'll see what we mean

We're blessed up here and we know it
It didn't take us long to see
Just what the fuss was all about
And why this is called God's country
