There's a light on the horizon
That's been there calling out to me
Telling me what the future holds
Telling me of new hopes to be

For too long I refused to look
It made no sense to me at all
What was this light? I didn't know
I completely ignored its call

Then one day an awakening
My life's blood was slipping away
I was told there was little hope
And right then I began to pray

"Dear God, I've had no use for You
And yet they say You still love me
If what they say is the real truth
Place Your healing hands upon me"

Yes, our Dear Lord heard my prayer
As He brought me under His care
Sent His gift as a miracle
Now all of His love I do share

During hard times when things are tough
God is only a prayer away
And when times are good, don't forget
To give Him your thanks when you pray

Look to The Light on the horizon
It is the light of The Risen Son
Simply believe His every word
And all of your battles will be won
