The Old Man was calling to me
"Won't you come to my mountainside
I have a message from our Lord
A message from which no one can hide"

I have always heeded his call
Ever since I was a small child
It would be nice to talk to him
As we haven't talked in awhile

I parked right beside Profile Lake
His old face I could clearly see
He said, 'Hi,' but wasted no time
These are the words he spoke to me

"In Heaven Jesus is crying
His sobs are rattling to the bone
His Angels try to comfort Him
Still He sits and watches alone

"As people continue to hate
And battle amongst each other
Fighting for no reason at all
While brothers are killing brothers

"Helpless children along the way
Are the victims of this madness
Willing to love everyone
It fills Him with so much sadness

"Why can't you all just get along?
You bring on your own destruction
God will not intervene again
He gave you simple instructions

"Very soon He'll rapture His sheep
The end of time is near at hand
Those left behind will feel His wrath
As the beast feeds on flesh of man

"They'll be years of death and destruction
Yet still He will grant you one last chance
But don't delay, don't harden your hearts
Don't waste your time being happenstance

"My friend, the day is drawing near
Now is the time to make a choice
The signs are all around you now
Now is the time to hear His voice

"Don't hesitate another day
For tomorrow may be too late
The choice is yours, you have free will
It's time that you pick your own fate

"Now pass this message on to all
And don't you dare hold anything back
This warning's from Heaven above
It is now a matter of fact!"

My friends, I pass it on to you
This story just as it was told
There is nothing left to be said
Just open your hearts, don't be bold.
