Just a Simple Wish For You

 May God be our light through the storms
Showing the way so we may see
All the beautiful gifts He's made
Lovingly done for you and me

Guiding us through calamities
Through horrors that just cannot be
Without His guidance and true love
I couldn't handle how life would be

Inspite of our ways and our faults
That don't allow us to be free
Still God has made a home for us
One in Heaven for you and me

Why He even cares I don't know
But I thank the Lord that He does
For we'd be nothing without him
The One who gave His life for us

Let us thank God this Christmas Day
By showing Him how much we care
Make friends with a lonely stranger
Show them the love God has to share

Christ is the reason for this day
It's not about gifts we receive
Now that I've had my say on this
It is time for me to just leave

Wait, I have one more thing to say
It's just a simple wish for you
I wish you a Merry Christmas
May God bless you in all you do
