I thought I'd take a break today While traveling this trail of life I needed peace and solitude A break from some worry and strife I sat by a pond in the woods Found it as peaceful as could be I thought about how good life is All the blessings God's given me Right there I counted my blessings And one by one they all came back Given me in His loving ways Unconditional love in fact I sat a bit longer and thought How undeserving a man can be Said, "God, thank You with all my heart I don't deserve what You've given me "I have sinned, I'm not a good man Don't send me a blessing today Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful to You I just don't understand Your way." A voice from way up in the trees Seemed to squelch this foolish worry 'God's love is unconditional Now go tell the world this story.' As I walked out along the trail Feeling my faith restored again And with the grace of God above Blessings like this will never end So, now that I've told you this tale Of how those words came from above You probably think I'm insane Don't matter for I have His love

Think you're insane? On the contrary, I know you are following the Lord with all the wisdom a person can have.
I have been sinful and felt unworthy, too, but that voice reminds me He loves me...I am beloved to Him. What greater reassurance can we have?
God bless you as you continue to follow Him.
