But when it's a one way street, something is seriously wrong. Read on if you'd like to. If you read, and really care, then review as a simple courtesy. You've all known me for years now, I speak my mind. I don't want to offend or hurt any of you. However, fair is fair; if you review me, I'll in turn, review you. This is my last RECIPRICATION post; the buck stops here. Let's keep the AUTHOR'S DEN the place to be. God bless and may even a one word review overflow all of our in boxes.
Each one of us loves to get feedback
What does a writing mean to you
So, we leave little messages
In the form of a brief review
Our time is a commodity
At least that's what it is for me
I try to review all of you
But needs to be a two way street
Just what is RECIPROCATION
Some it seems have no idea
I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine
Been going on for many years
Something we need to think over
This simple thing called courtesy
Not a written rule or a law
So easy to do should you please
Yet, this matter of principle
Of how much one might do for you
Expecting nothing in return
Exactly what many now do
But at a point the buck will stop
When one doesn't get tit for tat
Yes, right is right and wrong is wrong
Hope you understand where I'm at
One good turn deserves another
Reviews drive on a two way street
It's done in all aspects of life
Reciprocation feels so sweet
When courtesy isn't returned
It's more like a slap in the face
Let's give each other due respect
One big family in this place.
I have to admit Paul when I was writing here at the Den I had my favorites. I always did try to read and review some who got no feedback at all. In your case I like your style of writing. I also find your writings so easy to understand...........GOD BLESS YOU and YOURS.
I'll tell you my friend, I consider us brothers. Therefore you know that we respect each other and gladly read eachothers work. If I am selecting a poetry book on a topic I usually will pick a poem where I got seven or more positive reviews. Ten or more is a 10. That is a definate winner.So consider yourself a Winner! You got that bud!
For some reason short stories are not as popular. Perhaps folks don't want to take the time to read. I always enjoy reading you poems and stories and reading your feedback because we are like minded in Christ. However the fact that you got over 300 hits on a poem says someone out there took the time to stop by and read a Christ filled poem or story.That's reaching a lot of folks!
We will never know how many lives we touch but we can strengthen one another in His name. So let's recharge our batteries and continue the good fight to spread our love and joy throughout this world. There are so many hurting folks out there. We both know that, because we were once one of them. Be encouraged and stay blessed in Christ always.

I have always loved to read your poems Paul, but I've been out of AD for a long while. I read you because you write excellently and I enjoy reading your work. Reciprocal appreciation is simple courtesy, true - but sometimes unavoidable things happen (like net problems) or just the lack of time. George Mateos was a very good example for us of one who truly took time to reciprocate and comment. You are the other one, and thank you for this reminder.
