As I gaze outside this morning
New snow blankets all that I see
Covering all I see in white
Clothing every naked tree

If only my soul were so clean
I'd not have a care in the world
I'd sparkle and shine so brightly
Like the glow of a new born pearl

Lord, please help me to be that way
For I am weak, as You well know
Don't let me stray off of God's trails
Show me the ways I need to go

Cleanse my soul like new fallen snow
Don't let me be sinful or wild
Help me so I may help others
Realize that they too can smile

In knowing how much You love us
And knowing just how much You care
Help me to be all I can be
Your precious ways I long to share

Snow is one gentle reminder
Of how this world could really shine
If only we'd clean up our act
There'd be no strife, all would be fine

For us to get from here to there
We just need to believe in You
Trusting in You, like a small child
Too many find that hard to do

But I will keep plugging, Dear Lord
Speaking of the blessings You give
But most of all, I'll let them see
Your truth, in the way that I live
