As she rocks you to sleep tonight She counts your fingers and your toes Thanking the Lord you came out right Down to your little turned up nose Your beauty is like an angel's Your disposition is so sweet You're everything she prayed for Right down to your cute little feet She thanks our Lord for you baby A miracle to have and hold She will show you every trail You will walk on as you grow old You try to talk as she holds you And try to stand up in your crib The only complaint that she has Is what you spit up on your bib No, that really isn't the truth There's one more bad habit you have And though you're only three months old She can't wait 'til you use the lav It really matters not to her She knows you're a gift from above Life is such a wonderful thing When it's cherished and shared with love

This is comical as well as a sweet tribute. You couldn't overlook the stinky parts of this blessing, could you?

Mother's are precious & so too are the babies
the compliment on the bib made me smile
as I think back in time to some hilarious
moments being a Mother of 3 gorgeous girls

Babies are wonderful, but they have been nurtured and cared for until they can fend for themselves. But it's not long, and not much of a price to pay, to carry on the legacy of family.
