And then the Lord said to Moses
"One more plague I'll bring to this land
After this he will let you go
Pharoah will be a frightened man

"He'll drive you all out completely
When he decides to let you go
He'll drive you harshly from Egypt
This last plague is his final blow

"Speak so all the people will hear
Tell each to ask from his neighbor
Articles of silver and gold
Everyone must grant this favor"

In the sight of the Egyptians
The Lord made the people pleasant
Moses was held in high esteem
By Pharoah and all his servants

Then Moses said, "Thus says the Lord
'Around midnight I will go out
Into the midst of all Egypt
All firstborn will die, have no doubt

 'From the firstborn of the Pharoah
Even the child of the slave girl
All the firstborn cattle as well
Your cries will be heard 'round the world

 'There will be a great cry in the land
Such has never been heard before
And never to be heard again
Not tomorrow or evermore

'Against the children of Israel
Not even a dog will bark
Whether against man or beast
So you will understand the Lord

'It's how I make the distinction
Between Egypt and Israel
So that Pharoah will understand
That I do treat my people well

'Your servants will all come to me
All will bow down and they will say
'Get out with all who follow you' "
Left Pharoah in anger that day

And then the Lord said to Moses
"Pharoah will not listen to you
So my wonders will multiply
Now, what I told of, you must do"

So, Moses and Aaron performed
All God's wonders before Pharoah
Again, the Lord hardened his heart
And he did not let the people go
