Life is much like a best seller
With God as the author of life
The story line is intriquing
The pages filled with joy and strife

The Bible's not fiction just fact
All stories entirely true
Read every word carefully
To learn just what we need to do

In one chapter God tells us all
How to go from darkness to light
And the story just gets better
As we read well into the night

His words He chose so thoughtfully
To instruct us in what to do
So lovingly our God penned them
Divine guidance for me and you

Our happiest days lie ahead
All He asked is that we have faith
Walk the trail of the Fisherman
Accept Christ before it's too late

The final chapter is ours to write
Each one of us must then decide
Choose paradise up in Heaven or
Brimstone's fire from which we can't hide

The meaning of God's words are firm
Walk the trails of Jesus the Son
When our final chapters are written
I pray we all chose the right one
