Each day is a lesson in life
If we open our eyes we'll see
The love that God has for us all
Was simply always meant to be

Right now the trails may seem too steep
Yet the peak is within our sight
If we take one step at a time
We'll reach His Everlasting Light

Take my hand and I'll walk with you
Side by side on our toughest trails
We'll learn life's lessons together
Tell those we meet of wondrous tales

No matter what the future holds
God's love can't be taken away
The gift that He has given us
Is ours and will forever stay

As long as we will remember
To trust in Him and keep the faith
Open the door wide to our hearts
Ask Him in, it's never too late

Let's cherish the blessings God gives
Take them with us along our trail
For each of them God has given
To prove His love will never fail

His blessings are all around us
From tiny brooks that struggle to flow
To eagles that soar high in the sky
And trees that seek the sun's warm glow

Just as the rain makes the grass green
The love that God gives will restore
All of the souls that need healing
He'll make them as they were before

The darkest clouds will disappear
The smallest star will brightly shine
The moon will rise above the hills
To tell of the glory we'll find

On the trails of lessons in life
There are signs to show us the way
The way to return to our Lord
And how for forgiveness to pray
