During unwanted pontification
On a subject of much deliberation
Words flowing; abundant proliferation
An interruption; motivated desperation
Gasping for air, silence; self preservation
Erupting in extraordinary exclamation
“Don’t you ever tire of yourself;
Place your thoughts upon a shelf?
Don’t you care what others feel;
See the world through their eyes real?
Ever reach beyond your mind;
Imagine life beyond your blinds?”
Silence now commands the air
Eyes avoiding a glaring stare
Regretting all self expression
Opinions die; the voids extension
Banished to unwelcome reception
Now reclused; empty illuminations
Tire of oneself? How odd the temptation
Being less than my own imagination
So quiet now in my silent resignation
No voice spouting opinionated pontifications
Death must mirror this strange sensation
How appalling an insult to life and creation
