Fragrant Petals

This was inspired by flower paintings by Maryam Amiryani- something light.

shot by fuchsia letting go, yellow climbing as it grows,

the color spreads going deep, where I know your kisses sleep,

my petals full and waiting for you, open them, I do implore you,

on my back now, these poppies red, legs like stems, long and spread,

wet inside for kisses hot, come in closer, that’s the spot,

in the center, this gold delight, that’s it there, oh yes, that’s right,

the bud’s swelling wide from your tongue, oh, my ecstasy’s just begun,

one after another the sensations come, blue hyacinths color up the sun,

the leaves are full as passion burns, onto your stomach my body turns,

as you go further, deep into me, oh, my love, we’re meant to be,

gold star lilies glow in my eyes, no amount of words could deny,

we climax, a garden grown, flowers bloom from love we’ve sown

What a garden you have there, and the gardener is of magical means, as is the ferilizer you two emit. An erotic bouquet of Fragrant Petals, indeed!

as you go further, deep into me, oh, my love, we’re meant to be,

Would that it would be so/would that it had been so/would that it will be so... ...your verses make me whirl, Michelle.

Thank you for this gift.

Love and my very best to you,

Regis

I like this balance between nature and sensual - for sensual is nature. Some well thought out metaphors in this poem. Reminds me of one I wrote a few years back. We women often imagine ourselves as flowers; the idea seems natural. Creative write:)

What a bouquet of sweet sensual delight that bursts the scent of love into the mind and heart like a summer garden. Very nicely done and with such hot passion in each verse.
