you died
over a year ago
but i want you to know
i tried

thru all the times i lied
or i told you the truth
you were there by my side
a roof
a shelter
from the rain
thru helter-skelter
thru Life's pain

you were always there
where
and when
thru thick & thru thin

so as from Heaven
you look down
hope you don't frown
at this old clown
