stuck in the sand
i am.
tail in the air.
heads down there.

sand in my eyes,
i can't see.
ears got sand in 'em too.
whata' i do?

mouth full a' grit.
feels like shit.
sand in my hair.
sand everywhere.

it's hard to spy
with sand in my eye.
it's hard to hear
with sand in my ear.
it's hard to say
with grit there that way.

heads in the sand.
tail's in the air.
wouldn't it be grand
if i weren't there.

but, whata' i do,
i ask you?
with my tail in the air
and my head down there.

maybe you know.
maybe you see.
maybe you show
me to Be Me.

help me to see.
help me to say.
help me to hear.
show me the way.

help me to stand,
head outta' the sand.
tail down there.
head in the air.

see i can then.
say i can when.
my heads in the air.
my tails down there.
