with no melody
a song is a poet
who wrote it
he just what'n it to be

do we sing our songs
about what's gone wrong
and we write like a poet
who think's he know it

but in the end
the tend
to blend
1 with the other
and the other it be
a poem or a song
what's wrong
where do the word's belong

words you can sing
or poetry you bring
what's the big thing
afterall it's jusy YOUR THING
