it's gone away

no more pony tail
to trail
down my neck
but what the heck

it's only hair
but now it's not there
where it used to be

it was just
too damn hot
thought i must
but i didn't like it a lot

(not the hair... i liked it there)

but at 98 degrees
in the shade
i agrees
the decision
was made

cut my hair
get it off my back
if my head's still there
it'll grow back

now my head can feel
the soft summer breezy
but get real
it weren't easy

see it cut away
anyway

back to my back
cut me some slack, jack

it comes & it grows
you never knows
weathers or not
until it get's too hot

cut yourself some slack
with Life or hair
it'll come back
as long as your there
where
your head be
