GOD,
as i walk thru this Day
i pray
YOU'll let me Live in
Today.
YOU'll let me Begin agin',
a New,
Today in my walk with YOU.
YOU'll help me to Stay
and to Feel
and to Deal
with only what is Real.
YOU'll help me to Heal
all the Wounds of Yesterday.
YOU'll help to let GO.
of yesterday's Sorrow.
YOU'll help me to Grow.
YOU'll help me to Know
Today.
YOU'll help me not to Borrow
Time Today from Tomorrow.
YOU'll help me not to Worry
and Hurry and Scurry
in Fear
of Troubles that might be Near.
For Today
is It's own Event.
too soon It will pass Away.
each second, each minute, each hour
Each has It's own Power.
so please help me this Day,
i Pray,
to just Live
and to Give
to The Moment.
So many times, from personal experience Steve, God already gave us permission to heal, to deal, and to let go. It's we frail thinking humans who tend to not see the simplicity of the blessings in disguise. And a lot of that healing comes from dealing with things that we never thought would come our way.
It's God's way of saying, in my opinion, "okay, let's see how you deal with this curve ball coming over home plate."
Just know this: When that ball of confusion comes over your home plate, and you don't know how hard to swing. . . just bunt.
Glad to know the healing has begun. blessin's 2 U,
