did ya' hear a song
did ya' ever hear a sing
a sad song
did words ever bring
back a gone wrong
did yur hear a banjo
did you ever know
a guitar
with it's sad strings
ever hear the drums
how about a fiddle
just a fiddlin' sound
just fiddlin' around
did ya' ever
dance
2-step
outta step
a lonesome waltz
did ya' ever dance alone
did you ever sing
to yourself
to sleep
did you ever know lonely
were you ever alone
ever get stoned
did you ever know sad
did you ever lose what
you had
were you evr happy
or sad
do you hear music
when itn ain't there
where it should be
do you ever see
a mirror
a picture a me
do you danc
when you can prance
ever take a stance
when just standin'
is a hard understandin'
do you ever read me
see
my poetry
see me
dancion'
prancin'
glancin'
back
cut me slack
or just back
off
go jack-off
do i care
i be there
just where
i be
see
that be me
i jusst be
the dancin' me
this poem has nutin'
ta' do
with goodbye
don't ask me why
but goodbye
is always a good title
and i be in-titled
to a goodbye
