(with repect & appreciation to mr. John Prine for the phrases i "borrowed")

a broken heart & a dirty window
make it difficult ta' see
guess it just goes ta' show
how difficult Life can Be

i hate readin' an old Love letter
'cause it always brings me tears
guess by now i should know better
than ta' go wanderin' thru those years

when i walk back thru my memories
and my heart begins ta' ache
all those old used-ta-be's
remind me of the Love that i foresake

i hate grave yards & old pawn shops
'cause they always bring me fears
they bring back the heartbreak that never stops
reminding me of all those wasted years

a broken heart & a dirty window
make it difficult ta' see
guess i've finally learned ta' know
just how difficult Love can be
