of having each other to hold
of summer when it was cold

3 children we did born and raise
facing Life's shawdowy haze
passing thru each phase
with a poem's loving phrase

together we faced Life
Life with all it's strife
even when it cut like a knife
i was your husband, you were my wife

but now,
the road is not clear
we've lost our Love so dear
we've each shed a silent tear
now we must face our fear
now that the End is near
