a hot dry wind blew in today
it scortched the ground turned it to clay it torched the water burned it away in an explosion the air just wasn't there all i could do was stand and stare a hot dry wind blew in today nothing i could say no matter how hard i did pray our Love would not stay You walked away

Oh this is so well written and the imagery of cracking soil...just so harsh and real...like it is bleeding dust in some way...wow I think that would be my next poem "Bleeding Dust" what you think? Interested doing it in collaboration with me? I am busy with a painting that could complement this well!! Let me know!!

The ending of your poem is very touching....hey remember you are loved by this ol'Gal too OKAY!!
