love's soft hue

in my words
i find
the notion,
the motion,
the emotion,
love's sweet potion.

in my poems
i write
of my feelings,
my dealings,
of love and love lost.
of the cost.

in my phrases
i past through
the phases,
the hazes,
the dazes.

in you,
in you
my words,
my poems,
my phrases
seem to pale
to love's soft hue.
