i stand on The Battlefield
that is My Life

my armor "Memories"
histories
of who I Am and my used to Be's

my sword
a phrase, a word
yet unHeard

the shield
i wield
does not yield

honed steel
feelings i Feel
Feelings so Real

The War
is fought there,
afar,
there Where
I am thin
there where, i begin
agin' & agin'

Day or Night
i stand, no flight
i Write

i shed my blood
in a flood
there in Life's mud
soughts & oughts & wroughts
Battles each well foughts
Batlles each in my Thoughts

Demons slain
Life's rain
Life's pain
Thoughts insane
but, The War remains

It stays
It plays
Day & Night

at Night
i seek The Light

each Day
i wait for Night
to come my way

and still
