a Warrior Poet ... i stand on The Battlefield that is My Life
my armor "Memories" histories of who I Am and my used to Be's my sword a phrase, a word yet unHeard the shield i wield does not yield honed steel feelings i Feel Feelings so Real The War is fought there, afar, there Where I am thin there where, i begin agin' & agin' agin' & agin' i Fight Day or Night i stand, no flight i Write i shed my blood in a flood there in Life's mud soughts & oughts & wroughts Battles each well foughts Batlles each in my Thoughts Demons slain Life's rain Life's pain Thoughts insane but, The War remains It stays It plays Day & Night I Fight I Fight I Write at Night i seek The Light each Day i wait for Night to come my way and still i stay I Fight I Write my Fear is always near i hold it dear with each tear It's Truth is Clear i take a stand tho i never Understand I Fight The Fight I Write for good or bad for joy or sad for all i've had I Write a Warrior Poet unAfraid to show it I Fight Day & Night I Fight ... I Write to Know It to Show it I Write �

Steve this is chock full of superb images of what it means so be steadfast and fight the good fight, to overcome against all odds!
To come to terms with who we are and to learn the peace of understanding that comes from within our own spirits.Splendid poem, Warrior poet!
