Well, She said IT.

She said " IT ",
There " IT " was,
if only on paper.
She said " I Love You " to Him.

" I never got over You ".
" I loved you then, & I love You now ".

There it was.

The letter had been started 3 times. (at least).
Ruppled up, never finished.
Or, not finished for me to read.

It was out where I might find it.

guess i'll never know
if i was supposed to find it.

i'll never know if It was finished.

It's been on her heart.
It's been in her mind.
For how long i"ll never know.

But, now she's said It.

I guess we'll see what happens now.

She said she loved me, too.
But, It was different.

She said she still cared for me.
But, It was different.

She said she Loved Him.

I guess we'll see what happens now.

well, this was written last year. it was when i knew my life of 20+ years was over. had it ever really been?.... today, i'm back there. and it hurts. but, hey, i'm a poet and hurt is what i write about - right? right. still hurts.-steve

a poet writes not only of hurt but of the infinite possibilities before us... look into your soul and let them prevail...

we start life with pain in birth
each step there after inflicts pain of some degree it helps keep us strong. you will be stronger and more aware after the healing. yet the scare remains no mater how much time goes by. It just not as ugly as it was before.
Sorry to say this to you but if it is pain that causes you to write then I am getting a vodoo doll to give you a jab once in a while so I get to read more

Oh the anguish that can be life. The best part is now there is AD, now there is a home for this sadness as well as joy. I too have had to start again, my gut feels this pain for you today.
