for a while, until it’s past,
i’m not going to call you,
unless there’s a reason
for what’s to be said.
not about the past.
not about the present.
not about the future.
not about us.
only about what needs to be said & done
about It & Them.
i won’t be around just to see you,
just to be near you,
just to pretend, for a while, it’s not over.
you don’t have to worry
when i’ll show up when i show up,
not for a while.
i’m not going to look for you,
just so i can show up. just to see you,
just to be near you.
to pretend, for a while, It’s not over.
just to be around.
just to be.
just for a while, i’m going to try
not to Feel you,
in everything i do,
and every where i go.
i’m going to try not to Feel You.
i need to Feel Me, just for a while.
for a while i need not to Want You,
the way i Want You.
the Way i’ve always Wanted You.
at least for a while.
i can’t take The Hurt.
the Hurt inside of me because of
the Hurt inside of you.
the Hurt in your eyes.
the Hurt in your voice.
the Hurt in your actions.
the Hurt In You Because of Me.
For a while i can’t take the hurt.
Not for a while.
