i have fallen in love
again
or maybe it's just lust
but i know i must
see it through
with you

i have loved before

that's for sure
but i never thought

when i think of you
i smile
when i'm with you
i never want to leave
when you hold me

and when we kiss
we kiss

i am afraid
love & i
we never made it through
but with you
i feel a love
that just might do

i cannot rhyme
the way
you make me feel
i lose the words to say
i lose my word play

i know this poem is a ramble
i know love is a gamble
but i've been lonely
and i've been alone
made sure i had a heart of stone
bare to the bone

but since i met you
when i heard your voice
looked you in the eyes
an answer to my why's
my tears don't cry's
no more

i'm in love again
don't know where to begin
to let go
nor go on
i've lived in my past
lookin' for a love to last

not much i can really say
except
