Tricky Bastard

the mind is such a tricky bastard. it plays with our memory. it creates it's own reality. when i rember the way it was with her, it's seldom the way it was with her. my memories seem to blend the times when we were truly together with the times when we were together, but apart. an illusion of things being so perfect. but, it's only an illusion. the reality is that we were apart together more than we were together together. i don't know why that was. maybe i'll never know. but i do know that the way i remeber is not the way it was. that's only the tricky bastard playin' with my memory. creating it's own reality.
