my Life's been a sad one
'cause of choices i made.
and in my mind
some old love songs
refuse to fade,
refuse to be done.

ain't no one to blame but me.
had all my chances
at happiness & love you see.
just didn't choose well
and that's how it Be.

He came and He went.
'fore i knew it
my Life had been spent
in search of the bottle and my next drink.
God only knows why i didn't think
'bout all that i had.
sometimes i get sad.
but, lookin' back
my Life's not been that bad.

now you've come along
singin' a New Love Song.
helpin' me forget
all that's gone wrong.

so i'll Love You for ever.
i won't say "Ever".
and losin You i hope
will be "Never".

hope this Time
i've learned
the right choices to make.
hope this Time
the Rythmn & Rhyme
will take.
This Time
