Oh, the Dreams
we sung
when we were young.
they're gone now.
i wonder how
those songs got sung?
i remember the words
they were full of swords
and dragon slayin.'
havin' fun
and playin'
grown up.
just don't remember
those Dream Songs gettin' sung.
guess the fiddler was fiddlin',
riddlin'
with our Dream's rhyme
as we were just passin' time.
on the run.
but, i shore' don't remember
those Dream Songs bein' sung.
and, when there's a lonely moon
i can still hear
our Dream Song's tune.
the words are dear.
but now, the dragons are near.
and it ain't much fun
knowin' your Dream Songs
been sung.
Oh, but when we were young
the Dream Songs we sung.
