(another repost. first poem i ever wrote. written on the night my now ex-wife told me she wanted a divorce. i was drunk. she was tired of living with an alcoholic who kept slippin' in & out of the disease. still doin' that. can't blame her. but it did start me writting.)
Until you've been where you didn't want to go;
Until you've known what you didn't want to know;
Until you've seen what you didn't want to see;
Until you've been like you didn't want to be.
Until then you can't feel what it's like to be me.
Until every Today is just like Yesterday, and every
Tomorrow is just like Today -
You can"t can't know what it's like to live
A Season In Hell.
