went ta' the Doc today
had ta' hear
what He had ta' say

seem's i have a hole
in my stomach
(coulda' told 'em that)
some black mass
some black mess
i'z sick
tit-4-tat
kept waitin' for it ta' pass
wadn't gettin' any less
wadn't feelin' too slick
first Doc said
"might be the Big C"
then you're Dead
"BUT" that might not be

next one said sumpin'
'bout blood lumpin'
bllod test
& all the rest
be best
($$$$$)
better safe than sorry
& "don't worry"
"might have ta' cut"
but...

finally
one said it ain't final
but take these & these & these
& we'll see's
take 2 of each
call me in a week
geek!
Dr. Speak

'round & 'round
hate their sound
bound ta' confuse ya'
bemuse ya'
duh-duh-duh
what'd ya' say?

don't be lyin'
don't be tryin'
ta' slip away
hey Doc
i pay

come on Doc
say whatcha' got
give me your best shot

ok...
" don't seem ta be
the Big C.
guess we'll waitn' see
take 2 of these
call me in a week
we'll the the facts
(damn Dr.'s)
that's how they act

so
went ta' the Doc today
what can i say
shoulda' gone next week
hear the Doc speak

but i got 2 of these & these & these
damn,
bet i don't sneeze
