there's a scratch

there's a scratch on the album in my head. everytime the phonograph in my mind starts to play the song about you & me there's a skip and the same parts keep playing over and over. the only way to finish the song is to lift the needle. but, when i lift the needle i can't seem to find the right place to put it back. some part of the song keeps getting skipped over. it gets old listening to only part of the song. especially when i really like the song. guess i better get a new song. or, better yet, a new record.
