without an if, and or a but we rushed, we blushed into This Love with eyes wide shut
from the first time we heard each other's voices we knew there was a rhyme we knew there were no choices This Love was no mime this Love is The Real Thing it made our Hearts Sing not just a momentary fling but a Bird taken to wing and so it is we cut through time through Love's Rhyme with eye's wide shut
