why is that?
when I had Love
from You.
a wonderful, magnificent,
magical Love.

but,
I didn’t appreciate that Love.
I didn’t feel I deserved it.
I couldn’t, I wouldn’t
know that Love.

I always liked sad songs.

I never felt I deserved You.
I guess I never felt I had You.
there was always a shadow.
always a ghost.
of love lost.
of lost love.
of love that wasn’t for me.
of love that had gone away,
but not lost.
love not forgotten.

that’s a sad song.
a song of Love that’s real.
a song of Love that’s not appreciated,
until that Love is Lost.

what can I say?
what can I do?
about a Love Song
that was true .

it was me.
it was you.
it was about us.
We Two.

but, I guess it always felt
like there was more than Me & You.
not me & you.
but always with a shadow.
a shade of me.
a shade of you.
a shade of a shadow.

a shadow of Lost Love.
