at the used book store.

a little white book
on findin' your soul mate.

didn't read all that it said.
some of it seemed a little extreme.
but, one thing it said
made sense to me.

write a letter to your soul mate,
that one you're lookin' for,
sent to you by fate.

tell who i am,
where i've been,
what my dreams are.
what i'm lookin for.

then let the cosmic forces begin,
send my thought's aand feelin's
out to the four winds.
let fate find my soul mate.

so here goes.
let the four winds blow.
been searchin' all my life
tryin' to find my soul mate.
how to find love is one thing
i don't know. that much i know.
might as well leave it up to fate.

i am who i am.
i am who i've been.
i dream dreams of you.
i dream of love that's true .

i'm lookin' for my soul mate.
that one i can't seem to find.
and there never is a moment
you're not on my mind.

so if you're ou there,
somewhere, i don't know where,
let the four winds find you.
bring me a love that's true .

if you're seekin' what you can't find,
if you're searchin' for some love in kind,
ok, soul mate,
read my mind.
read my heart.
read the cards.
read the stars.
read the little white book.
send me a letter
so i can find you.
