It was something someone said.
That Something I didn't want to hear.
That Something that takes me back
to that place I don't want to be.

He was There.
That's why he said It.
He was there, that place he didn't want to be.
Once we're there it's hard to get back here.

It's a dark & lonely place.
That Place.
There's only sadness ...
and Fear.

That place that steals the Joy from Today.
It darkens the Hopes of Tomorrow.
It's full of guilt.
it's smothered in sorrow.

Where is such a place?
A place so bleak & bare.
It's There,
in the Land of " IF ONLY ".
