they stay there.
out there.
just out of my reach -
there, but not there.

i can feel their presence.
i know they're there.
somewhere.
but where?

my mind can hear them.
faintly calling.
whispering.
promising to return
when i don't feel This Way.

but, when i'm feeling
That Way
( This Way )
i need the words.
the words are what help me
to not feel This Way.

sometimes the words just won't come.
