Circles into Squares

A revelation came to me out of nowhere,

I was trying to force a round peg into a hole that was square.

Well, I am here to tell you it won’t work.

You probably know this already, ha!  but I don’t feel like a stupid jerk.

No one knows the shape of love, how then can we relate?

When we frown we cast out sad sad feelings, and from within this shape, love cannot escape.

When we smile our smiles, love comes pouring out, through the smile's gate.

Because all of the moments in our lives that we frown from our despair,

is like forcing that which is round ………………… into a hole that is square.
