Before I came onto this place of earth, fire, wind and rain, I was in the bosom of tranquility, but nay was I in sight of its center.
So I was hurled to earth so to learn the way to life's purest place.
I was lonely for whence I came and walked in circles, confused as to my surroundings.
But one day I found myself in a meadow brook, and a willow's branch softly swished my brow as if to awaken me to the scent of morning glory blossoms entwined in a tapestry of myrtle and ivy.
And I knew as I kneeled down and saw the colonies of living things in the undergrowth, living their lives with purpose. And I snapped off a vine tasting the fragrance of sassafras, knowing I was no longer lonely, and the center of life was closer to me than ever before.
