Learning to love

 We touch to be touched

What one thing opens the gates of our tears,

is it the joys of love or all of love's fears?

What do we know of this magical vibration?

Lives are built and are destroyed from its sensational sensations.

Oh the wearied souls I embrace,

we touch to be touched,  our satins and lace.

Sweet dreams forever forgotten,

we've played in fields of frolicking passions.

It's ok now, every things alright,

Now I know that love is the darkness as well as the light.

Embrace me with endless crowns of thorns.

Emboss me with beautiful red irons of scorn.

Drip slowly onto my naked skin,

melted colors of blue,

rainbow's spectrum,

pastels and vivid hues.

These things make tears that pour from my eyes.

"tis the color of loves array" I cry.

With an arrow in my heart,

and the wisdom of life ...............in m eyes

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
